How Collectibles Price prices work

eBay asking prices

Median of matched active listings. Pokémon asking prices publish only with at least three listings. Magic card-page asking prices are a median of fixed-price listings and are not held to that three-listing floor. Neither is a sold price.

TCGPlayer market

Near Mint singles. We label this Near Mint market — not a sold price.

Magic: The Gathering

Magic card pages show TCGPlayer market, foil, recent sold, and eBay asking prices. If a source has no number, that slot stays empty. eBay numbers are asking prices, not sold prices.

Hub and set tiles show a TCGPlayer price when we have one. Guide is TCGPlayer's Near Mint market. Where a print is too thin for TCGPlayer to publish one, Median ask shows the median of current TCGPlayer listings instead. It is an asking price, never presented as a sale.

Opening a Magic card page pulls TCGPlayer for that print and stores one reading per day. The history chart draws those stored readings. A median ask is never spliced onto the end of a market line.

One Piece

One Piece card pages show TCGPlayer market, recent sold, and eBay asking prices, matched on the printed card number. Parallels stay on their own pages. eBay numbers are asking prices, not sold prices.

Coins

Coin pages use three labeled numbers. On a mapped United States coin, Guide is the NGC Price Guide cell for the printed grade, Recent sold is the median of NGC auction sales for that same grade, and Current asks are eBay listings. A grade without its own NGC cell stays empty. Asking prices are not sold prices.

Disney Lorcana

Lorcana card pages show TCGPlayer market, foil, recent sold, and eBay asking prices. Normal and foil are priced separately. eBay numbers are asking prices, not sold prices.

PriceCharting sold

Completed sales from PriceCharting (TAG 10 market plus other grades we can map). Grade rows may fall back to eBay asking prices when sold prices are missing — the page says so.
